Fidelity Your Transaction Cannot Be Processed at This Time Please Try Again Later

Ordered a phone for the 3G shutdown, order was errored out but they charged my CC.
I am so fed up with this overseas support non-sense.
I ordered a phone for my Mom today, an Alcatel Flip 2 to replace her 3G phone.
The message I get is Alert - We apologize we cannot process your transaction at this time. Please try again later or call us at 1800-867-7183. Yet they billed my credit card for the phone and new plan.
I call customer service, they can't find the order so they said you need a refund. I get transferred to the refund people and can barley understand what she is saying. She said the order is there, you have to wait for an email. I said my online page does not show any pending orders. She your order is complete you have to wait for the email. I said what's the order number and she could not supply it. All she would do is repeat I have to wait 1-2 days for an email.
I logged into my bank and see the pending charge. I know they have to settle the charge but that could be days before I know what happens there, so now I have no idea if the order is real or not.
Fed up with this overseas BS.

I assume by not showing any pending orders you ran your email to see if it will give you an order number.

- Yes, no order #. The order is still sitting in my shopping cart. I pressed the Place Order button, got the error so it did not clear the shopping cart. But the overseas support says there is no problem with your order but refused to provide me an order #.

I don't know what number you called but maybe try one of the corp numbers like 1-800-867-7183 x 3324
- Is that number going overseas?

- That is the same number I called. If I use the extension you listed, it's prompts me for "Enter the phone number you wish to change".

When they answer, they usually will identify themselves as your manager from the Tracfone corporate office.
You can also ask them if they are from the corporate office.

Another number is 305-640-2000 x1029
That one seems to be answered fast and is also the corporate office.
The reps there are usually better but not always.
- I tried that number, it's standard customer service, it went overseas. This time though I could more clearly understand this person. She had a different answer. She said I will not receive my order as there is no order number. She said the charge will not actually get charged since it's in the pending state. So I still have no idea why the order bombed out and will have to watch to make sure the charge on my card does not actually get billed.

I have to find another service for my Mom. This is the 2nd time I have had to call these people and get useless billing support.

What that rep said sounds likely. It will hopefully just drop off.
A lot of it is overseas. The corporate reps though are better than the standard lower level reps because they usually have access to the account tools and usually have better training so you get better answers and sometimes fixes for tough or unique problems.
